Peach Cobbler
2 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
sift dry ingredients
then add:
1 c sugar
cut in:
1/2 c shortening
then add:
1 c. milk
mix will and pour in 13x9 pan
1 bottle peaches sliced
place slices on top of batter
sprinkle:
1 c sugar
then pour:
2 c. peach juice. (you will need to add a little water to the peach juice to make 2 cups.)
bake at 350 degrees for 40 min or until top is golden brown and bubbly
serve hot with vanilla ice cream!!
